CLASS AND EVENT PREVIEW

Our first event for the FOURTEENTH Quilters Land Cruise will be at Sew ‘n Save of Racine, one of our sponsors. We are planning a unique evening that will include the following:

DEMONSTRATIONS

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS

We will continue at the Radisson with our now-famous Chocolate Salad as we Meet the Teachers and close with a wild PAJAMA PARTY with a cool PROJECT, door prizes, and required BEDROOM SLIPPERS, plain, cool, or funky!!!

SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 2010

We have found great teachers including Racine ’s two famous appliqué masters – Ann Fahl and Betty Ekern Suiter! Also we bring you Jan Krueger from Hales Corners, Wendy Rieves from Brookfield , plus a few excellent teachers from Sew ‘n Save of Racine. The basic schedule will be:

9 am to 12 noon Classes

12:15 pm to 1:15 pm Lunch

1:30 to 4:30 pm Classes

We are planning another very special Dinner for Saturday evening! Following the dinner, you can choose to come to our now popular SEW Relaxing, enjoy our Quilting Bee, or come to our Open Appliqué Workshop.

SUNDAY, MARCH 7, 2010

Our classes on Sunday will begin at 9 am and continue to 3:30 pm . We will close the FOURTEENTH annual Quilters Land Cruise at 3:45 pm with a class Show ‘n Tell and many wonderful door prizes – and you MUST be present to win!

Our FOURTEENTH Land Cruise pattern will be available at the event for $5. It will reflect our theme of “Quilts With Appliqué”.

DOREEN’S WELCOME QUILT

Doreen Speckmann passed away unexpectedly in September 1999. Quilters around the world have made blocks for a huge quilt in her memory. It is displayed each year in the lobby of the Radisson.
